The Golden Valley Agriculture Program welcomes you to our website! Located in the heart of the San Joaquin Valley in Merced, CA, the Golden Valley FFA program is home to over 900 FFA members. Since the programs' establishment in 2007, it has been the location to many outstanding students.
Currently, the program has eight agriculture instructors in which all have an extensive amount of industry experience which allows students to learn many hands on skills that will better prepare them for their future careers. Students have the opportunity to establish their leadership skills, develop student-based projects, prepare themselves for career readiness, and broaden their educational experience by participating in the FFA program.
You can often find Golden Valley FFA members participating in many community based events that allow them opportunities outside of the classroom experience. Students are also able to participate in many Leadership Development events such as the National FFA Convention in Indianapolis, IN, California State FFA Leadership Conference, Sacramento Leadership Experience, Advanced Leadership Academy, Made for Excellence Conference, Greenhand Conference, as well as various other local leadership conferences.
The opportunities are endless for students as they are given the opportunity to develop skills in multiple agriculture industry sectors at Golden Valley High School.
